The club is also putting on the Goldminers Christmas Cup business house bowls competition and this will run from November 1 till December 13.
The competition will have weekly winners with the major prize for the competition being a Christmas party for the winning business for twenty people to the value of $1,000.00 at the bowling club. You need three people per team each week the only restriction is that you can only have one registered bowler in your team each week. Contact the club for further details.
The bowls jackpot this week was odd rinks on the third end and winning by one shot. There were no winners so the jackpot stands at $131.00 next week.

< LADIES' BOWLS
The weekend of September 21 and 22 saw Pat Reid, Coral Perceval and Dale Scott competing in the Triples Carnival at West Wyalong. West Wyalong has three greens and they were all full, which was a great credit to the club. Our Girls played four games over the weekend, winning one.
On Tuesday, September 24, Colleen Katen, Joy Murray and Pat Reid travelled to the Boorowa Recreation Club for the Friendship Day tournament. Our team won and Colleen also won the lucky door prize to cap off a great outing by the Grenfell team.
Future events fast approaching include the Boorowa Recreation Club President’s Day, October 8, and on October 10 the South West District meeting at Young will be held. Mrs Joan Shaw, the Regional representative, will be attending.
Organisation is also well under way for our 60th President’s Day to be held on October 31, this year.
Congratulations also to our President, pat Reid, who has been elected to the management committee of the Grenfell Bowling Club Ltd.
