Hewitt, who has been in scintillating form was successful with Sporty Mickilla and Good Cheddar This.
A five-year-old by Pet Rock out of Shelly Lobell having just its second start, Sheldon Rock provided the treble for Grenfell, taking out the final event on the program.
A half brother to the handy performers King Fisher and Lutzy's Dream, Sheldon Rock ($26) was overlooked by punters who looked to be on the mark when Day settled the second starter at the tail of the field.
When Can't Bluff You ($1.40, Mat Rue) made a move along the back straight Day followed giving the outsider a great trail into the race.
Day peeled five wide when the field turned for home with Sheldon Rock arriving in time to score by 2.7 metres over For Nando ($3.9, Jason Hewitt) with Can't Bluff You 5.2 metres back in third.
Earlier on the program Mark Hewitt continued his recent good form with Sporty Mickilla ($7.50) adding to her last start second and a win previous to that around the Bathurst circuit.
Good Cheddar This ($3.80), owned by Margaret Lee but raced under lease by Levarg Racing recorded its third career win, all of which have been at Bathurst, winning in a mile rate of 1.57.2.
Both Hewitt trained pacers upset short priced favourites to score in their respective events.
