There was some fantastic conditions for local golfers who took to the Grenfell Country Club course on the weekend, especially with the course in such great shape after the recent rainfall across the area.

There was several games played over the weekend both competitively and socially with an event held on Sunday at the Country Club.
On Sunday a Stableford was played with a Mulligan shot available on each hole. Playing the event with this kept the final results very close .
The winner on Sunday was Paul Taylor with 40 Points, Runner-up went to Barry Green on 39 Points and third place ended up with Shaun Logan on 38 Points.
There was no Nearest the Pin on Sunday.
Social Golfers played the bottom nine this week with a good field of players who were not deterred and were out playing in the frost.
The winner for the Social Golfers was Dicky Crowe who braved the cool morning to finish the best.

Runner-up - Grant Simpson on 34 nett
Longest-drive went to Dicky
Nearest the Pin went to Grant Simpson.
Best Putter for the day was Jason Hall with 14 putts.
Wednesday golf results - Wayne Holz stood-out with a great score of 40 Points and this resulted in an adjustment of his Handicap, runner-up was Peter Mawhinney on 34 points on countback with John Grant and Nearest the Pin went to Brian Brown.
With this weekend being the June Longweekend a Stroke event will be held on Saturday and Sunday and will be a Stableford.
Looking ahead Sunday June 20 will be the Loaders Coaches Golf Day. This is a 2-Person Ambrose find a partner. Start time 11am to 11:30 for a 12Noon Shot-Gun start.
