Hutchings, with star driver Brett Hutchings on the reins, was able to make it three wins in a row for boom colt Watch and Weep ($4.80) after victory in the Bendigo Bank/Gilgandra Motor Garace Pace.
Watch and Weep sat patiently in the back half of the field before Hutchings made his move on the back straight from three wide.
The colt charged to the lead, growing wings in the straight to win by over five metres after recording ultra-impressive wins over the past fortnight in Parkes and Bathurst respectively.
That makes it five wins in 14 careers starts and over $18,000 prize money for a talented horse that is destined for bigger things in the future.
Grenfell trainers won three of the other seven races, upstaging their bigger regional city rivals - with Mark Hewitt, Peter McFarlane and Robert Anderson all heading home down the Newell Highway with a win.
Maudies Delight ($4.80) was finally able to break her maiden in start 22 for Hewitt in the second race of the day, holding on to win by a nose despite the best efforts of the fast finishing Baby Bee Mine ($2.10 place), driven by Bathurst's Nathan Turnbull.
McFarlane's Holy Camp Caprhyse ($6) was far too good in the Tatts Hotel/Creenaune Family Pace, smashing Tulhurst Writer ($1.95 place) by several lengths after the former was inconvenienced by a galloping Joshua Dillon.
Anderson finished off the fine day for Grenfell-based trainers after Holy Camp Rob got the job done as the $4.60 favourite.
The gelding sat calmly at the tail of the field before Anderson began to reel the entire field from four wide on the final lap; winning by a head over I'm Alrite ($5 place) with Brett Hutchings aboard.
The feature event for the day was the Gilgandra Veterinary Clinic Pacing Cup and it was the impressive Kanena Provlima ($1.85), trained by Ben Settree, who looked to be every inch of a talented city horse.
Peak Hill's John Beeby managed to secure a minor placing with Morning Major ($4 place) as did Sailalong Sinbad ($1.70 place) for Canowindra trainer Darryl Fliedner with Brett Hutchings aboard.
Harness heads to Blayney on Sunday afternoon for the running of the Peter Marshall Memorial Heats
