Maudie's Delight will open proceedings for Hewitt in the second race on the card looking to improve on its first up third at Parkes last Sunday.
From the six draw at Parkes, Maudie's Delight was sent to the start an even money favourite and was forced to race deep in the run to the first turn.
Hewitt was able to get to the one one but only briefly before being left without cover.
Forced to race in that position for the remainder, before tiring late to finish third, the Grenfell trained five year-old should again prove hard to beat on Sunday, especially from the more favourable three draw.
Hewitt also has Sporty Mickilla and Bobby Street engaged.
Fellow Grenfell trainer Robert Anderson will be looking to make it back to back wins with last start West Wyalong winner Holy Camp Rob.
