Round Nine of the Men's tennis competition was played in a very competitive but friendly way on Tuesday evening with two pairs playing 21 games, three pairs playing 20 games and one on 18, it was a very close finnish.
The two pairs with 21 games were Grant Fisher and Mark Leibich and Andrew Bucknell and John Walsmley.
The three pairs with 20 games were Graham Watt and Arnold Brown and Grahame Edwards and Pat Hazell and Danny Joyce - Danny was filling in for Stuart McKellar - and Rick Power followed by David Mitton - David was filling in for Trent McCann - and Chris Payne on 18,well played everyone.
The Family Tennis Day will be held on Sunday September 20.
All entries for the Family Tennis Day should be received by Danny Joyce by September 17 to help us with organising the catering, thanks.
Social tennis is proving to be very popular with a good turn up each Thursday, play starts at around 9am every Thursday morning.
