From Grenfell Public School:
On Thursday 27th August, Grenfell Public School participated in the NAIDOC Public Speaking Challenge.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the challenge was coordinated and delivered through a digital platform.
Two teams of two students were entered from the school to join 20 teams across the region also participating.
The teams worked together to prepare a four-minute speech on the theme 'Always Was. Always Will Be'.
Our teams were Abigail Lester (Year 3) and Marley Loader (Year 5) along with Patrick Radnedge (Year 3) and Dylan Forde (Year 5).
The students spoke beautifully, both delivering powerful speeches and received some helpful feedback from the judges.
