With 13 riders attending, it was a fantastic way to kick off the year.
Riders were separated into two groups. Group one consisted of four led riders and two riders who were just learning how to ride off the lead.
They enjoyed a morning of games such as what's the time Mr wolf, musical flags, bending, flags and follow the leader.
Group 2 was the more advanced riders, those who could walk trot and canter confidently. Instructed by Tania Heathcote they did some grid work to improve their showjumping and followed that by letting loose in the sporting games bending and flags.
Every month we award two "riders of the month" to the riders who have tried their hardest and listened well at the rally days.
Our February riders of the month were Georgia conron and Camilla Metcalfe, congratulations girls.
Grenfell pony club has held two very successful cake stalls, one at the drought relief markets on Sunday 23 February and a street stall on Saturday 7 March, we'd like to thank the community for your support.
Rally days are held every third Sunday of the month, for up to date information please follow our FB page.
