Dave Howarth was at his best top scoring with 73 not out for Cowra Bowling Club as they ran down the 149 target set by Grenfell White in the Cowra cricket B grade match played in Grenfell on Saturday.
It was Howarth's second big score against the young Grenfell side, having put on 79 against them prior to Christmas.
Jackson McLeish (18), Matt Gault (25) and Lani Ryan (14 not out) were the other major contributors for Bowling Club.
Riley Cartwright was the only dual wicket taker for Grenfell White finishing his day with 2-28 off four overs.
Jaxon Greenaway (1-25) and Ky O'Byrne (1-17) were the other wicket takers in a tough day for the home side in the field.
Batting first Grenfell finished their 36 overs at 6-148 thanks largely to the efforts of Bailey Edwards (40) and Jaxon Greenaway (21).
Five other batsmen managed to reach double figures with D Hazel (19), Ky O'Byrne (13), Riley Cartwright (15), Riley Edwards (11) and Caleb Haddin (15) all getting starts.
Lani Ryan was the main attacking weapon for Bowling Club with ball in hand, taking 3-31 off her eight overs.
Matt Gault (1-22), Aiden Roberts (1-31) and Paul Basham (1-27) also picked up wickets.
In the other B grade match played in Cowra a dominant half century from Kane Schofield backed up by a 46 from middle order batsman Bevan Foxall were the backbone of the 8-161 innings from Valleys in their match against Morongla.
Batting first Valleys dominated with the bat, Schofield setting the tone with good support from J Mason and A McFarlan who both contributed 20 to the score before Foxall chimed in with his highest score of the season as he continues to rise up the batting order.
No other Valleys batsman was able to reach double figures, but it didn't matter as the damage had already been done at the top of the order as Morongla struggled with both their line and length.
Tom Doolan was a standout with the ball, costing his side just 27 runs from seven overs, picking up four wickets, including the scalp of Foxall with a half century in his sights.
Mallon, Neville, Wilson and Amos picked up the other Valleys wickets to fall.
It was never going to be an easy run chase for Morongla as they lost wickets at regular intervals, Philpott (3) the first to go in the fifth over.
Pat Neville (13) and Tom Doolan (10) were next to go, both off the bowling of Lewis McFarland as Morongla slumped to 3-31.
They then lost the wickets of Craig Oliver (3), Rohan Wilson (6) and Beale (2) with the score still in the forties before both Justin Bryant and Mallon were out with the score on 50 and 50 respectively to be 8-51.
This weekend both Grenfell sides are in action in Cowra. Valleys meet Grenfell Blue at Twigg Oval while Bowling Club and Grenfell White are at Oliver Oval.
