According to the data from the Bureau of Meteorology Grefell received a total of 31.4mm between 9am Saturday and 9am on Tuesday.
According to the data collected locals received 4.8mm of rainfall up until 9am on Sunday with a further 5.6mm of rain up to 9am on Monday morning.
Some locals received more, some less while some claimed the wind made getting an accurate reading nearly impossible with gusts reaching up to 76km/h across the region.
The big rainfall that left water across roads, flooded paddocks and put a smile on people's faces happened between 9am on Monday and 9am on Tuesday when Grenfell's station recorded 21mm bringing the monthly total for February up to 32.2mm.
The good news doesn't stop there however with more rain predicted to fall over the weekend and into next week.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology Grenfell was expected to receive more rain on Thursday with a shower or two predicted and Saturday with a shower or two developing throughout the day.
With Tropical Cyclone Uesi expected to pass very close to the NSW coast on Friday and over the weekend meteorologists predict more rainfall could be expected across the eastern part of the state towards the middle to end of next week.
The forecast for the next few days Grenfell is; Saturday - a shower or two developing with a low of 18 degrees Celsius and a top of 32, Sunday - a shower or two with a low of 19 degrees Celsius and a top of 29.
