The Combined Services Clubs Christmas Carnival was held in Grenfell on December 20 at Vaughn Park with plenty of fun for everyone.

Rotary were kept busy selling their Sausage and Steak Sandwiches, the Grenfell Town and District Band entertained everyone, Lions operated the Jumping Castle, sold Santa Tickets and ran the Chocolate Wheel while The Henry Lawson High School Leo Club worked hard on the face painting as well as assisting the Lions Club.
Thank you to the Weddin Shire for bins and barricades, Grenfell Fire and Rescue who transported Santa, the SES who provided lighting, the stall holders; the Hospital Auxiliary and Steve the Ice Cream Man. A special thank you to Santa, who was received with open arms by the children.
Mayor of Weddin Shire Mark Liebich was on hand to announce the winners of the Christmas Lights/Display with their prizes and certificates. 1st - Wayne Hewen, 2nd Mark Horne and equal 3rd were Libby Noble and Phillipa Frost.
