The Georgina Josephine Foundation is one of 29 community groups which has benefited from a grant worth $4500 to continue creating information resources raising awareness of low speed vehicle accidents.
Ms Cooke said the program has provided the Georgina Josephine Foundation with the opportunity to run a local project that will support safer road use.
"This fifth round of funding was the most competitive to date and 30 projects from 29 applicants have been successful in being granted funding," Ms Cooke said.
"There was certainly a high calibre of candidates and I congratulate The Georgina Josephine Foundation on their successful proposal."
The funding of up to $5,000 for small projects and up to $30,000 for larger initiatives has been awarded for local community road safety projects, such as educational programs to increase road safety awareness in communities across the state.
Emma and Peter Cockburn established the Georgina Josephine Foundation after they tragically lost their 15 month old daughter to a low-speed vehicle accident.
They have worked tirelessly to raise awareness, and have obtained over $128,000 in grants from the NSW government since 2017.
Mrs Cockburn said that these grants are a great boost for the Foundation.
"The larger of these two grants ($19,360) will help us to get the message out through radio station 2SM across NSW," Mrs Cockburn said.
"The smaller grant of $4,500 will go toward translating our pamphlets into other languages, to spread the message further with people who have non-English speaking backgrounds."
