Halloween celebrated in Grenfell

The custom of trick-or-treating on Halloween may have originated in a Celtic festival, held on October 31 - November 1, to mark the beginning of winter though it is certainly not winter in Australia.

The Grenfell Cubs enjoyed tripping around town in Natasha and Paul Best's big bus on October 31 and called at homes to which they had been invited.

The children all dressed in great costumes and had a fun-filled evening.

They wish to thank their leaders and especially their bus driver Joanne Franklin for an enjoyable evening.
