Monteagle and Wyalong a safe place to play these holidays

Maimuru Public School and Monteagle Public School are two out of 14 schools across the region who will be making their playgrounds accessible for all during the school holidays.

The two small schools from the Hilltops region are joining others within the Cootamundra electorate to take part in the Share Our Space program.

The program opens up school play areas to the public ensuring there are large open and safe places for kids to play over the school holidays.

"Many of our schools have beautiful open spaces and well-designed play equipment to suit kids of all ages and abilities," Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke said.

"It's wonderful to be able to share these with the surrounding community."

Wyalong and Monteagle will be joined in the program by Jugiong, Wallendbeen, EA Southee, Cootamundra, Wyalong, Wyangla Dam just to name a few of the 14, for a full list go to the NSW school infrastructure website.
