A highlight of the Henry Lawson Festival weekend was the presentation of the Weddin Shire Arts award to Grenfell Commodities.

Festival chairperson Allan Griffiths said the award was recognition of Grenfell Commodities contribution to the district.
The Award has not been presented in over 10 years, however this year was presented to the team from Grenfell Commodities after they privately commissioned Melbourne based artist Heesco to transform four silos into a canvas for Grenfell's largest artwork.
Nomination for the award came directly from the Henry Lawson Festival committee.
"We just decided to recognise them, it was a surprise to them," Mr Griffith said.
"It has done a lot for the town."
The silo mural is a compilation of images representing the contemporary farming industry and landscape of the Weddin Shire.
The artwork is an adaption of photographs taken by locally renowned photographer Denise Yates of Five Hours West. Images of the birds were supplied by local ornithophile, Jenn Graham.
