The walk will begin by exploring the Vaughn's Dam surroundings, along the Railway line, proceeding to Holy Camp Road, Berry's Lane and Murray's Lane to the Grenfell cemetery.
There, some of our local historians plan to share stories about past characters.
Bring some morning tea - there will be a "Support Vehicle" to carry items. It is a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning - walking and talking- so we hope you can join us. All welcome.

Our walk for last month (April), was organised by Greg Parker in the Bald Hills area. After a steep climb up to the trig station, the fourteen walkers were rewarded with amazing 360 degree views from the top of the very "bald" hill.
After scrambling back down to the cars, we drove to the historic "Cheviot" homestead site with Port Jackson fig trees (originally settled by Matchetts and known as "Bald Hills").
Dr Varejka had great plans for the property when he owned it. The group explored the shearing shed, with some very old names amd dates inscribed before walking to Mrs Mills grave, the headstone reading "SYLVIA" 9 Sept 1921.
A most enjoyable walk and glimpse into the past.
