In a rematch of the semi-final between the first and second-placed regular season finishes, Grenfell didn't repeat the mistakes of their first finals failure, putting on a clinical display to ensure that a victory was never far from their forefront of their mind after a dominant first innings, with Cowra Valleys bowled out for 75 after only 26 overs.
It was a comprehensive bowling effort, as Harrison Starr took 3-12 and Mathew Tozer chipped in 2-29 while Shaun Logan starred, taking 4-16.
The Valleys struggled to make an impact on the scoreboard, with several players barely getting beyond a start.
The home side slumped to a first innings score that was always going to be difficult to defend.
Kane Schofield made 18 runs to top-score, while the experienced Jarod Mason (14) and skipper Tommy Lamond (12) were the only other players to head into double digits, as the home side slumped to a first innings score that was always going to be difficult to defend.
Grenfell wasted no time attacking the Valleys line-up, with openers Jock Mitton (19) and Steven Walker aggressive early, hitting 35 off the first six overs before Walker was dismissed on 29 by Brodie Graham.
From there, however, it was all smooth sailing, as Charlie Mitton joined in on the free hitting, hitting 26 as Grenfell brought up 1-75 in the 13th over, sealing a comfortable victory.
For the Valleys, only Lamond's 0-8 hinted at the strong economy needed for the total that they were defending, while Mason and Kane Schofield struggled to impact.
End of season celebrations and awards were also held after the game with Grenfell dominating in the awards, with their players picking up Batsman and Bowler of the Year in Second Grade.
