The theme for this year’s event is “Ode to Winter”, which the committee is sure will inspire some fabulous artworks, parade floats and shop fronts.
The committee currently has a couple of volunteer vacancies for positive and eager individuals:
Photography Exhibition Coordinator
Street Stall Coordinator.
These roles are a great way to be give something back to your community.
They are also an opportunity to build your own organisational and communication skills; develop friendships and contacts with community members and visitors; and be an integral part of our much loved festival.
And don’t worry, you wont be thrown in the deep end.
The committee staff and volunteers are there to help out and guide you, and the roles aren’t onerous.
There is even the opportunity to share a role if you are on the fence and have a like-minded friend.
If you have some great skills that you could bring to our dynamic committee, or even just want to gain some new ones, please register your interest at the Grenfell Visitor Information Centre.
You can either drop in for a chat or give them a call on (02) 6343 2059.
The Festival organising committee would love to have you on the festival team.
