The goal of $15,000 has almost been met with Ms Knowles congratulating the walkers for creating a team and spreading the word.
". A massive percentage of our donation last year came in over the three days of the walk and the week following so create a team, share the page and tell everyone why mental health matters to you," she said.
The Cargo 2 Grenfell walk was first held in 2017 when a group of 10 enthusiastic participants took part in a "trial walk".
2018 was an even bigger success, exceeding Sarah and Toby's goal of raising $10,000, by more than $3500.
The objective for 2019 and beyond is to continue to grow in both numbers and impact each year - with the hope to help improve the lives of people affected by mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and suicide.
The walk starts with a briefing at the Cargo Inn at 11am on Thursday, March 7.
Leaving Cargo at 12 noon participants have until 5pm to complete the first stage before being picked up by a safety vehicle and transported to Canowindra.
Walkers leave Canowindra the following morning at 10am and again have until 5pm to get to Gooloogong.
