Despite ongoing drought conditions that have ravaged much of NSW and affected entire communities, the Grenfell Country Club has been successful in remaining a stand alone club and intends to do so for many years to come.

Community support of the local Country Club has been very pleasing to it’s committee members over a long period of time and with that being said now is the time they truly need your support.
Over time the club has often had to juggle trading hours due to irregular activity across the seasons and recently the committee made the decision to adjust it’s operating hours to ensure the club remains viable.
The new trading hours will be Fridays: 4.30pm - 8pm and Sundays: 10am - 1pm/ re open 4pm - 9pm.
Trading outside these hours will still continue by arrangement.
The dining room is open each Sunday evening during the meat raffle where you can come along and order a delicious meal and take part in the Sunday night entertainment.
The club’s committee welcomes and encourages businesses, individuals and organisations to utilise it’s terrific function room at any time by making an appointment.
The function room can be fully catered by popular chef Tania Mooney, or you have the convenient option of using the club’s in-house BBQ facilities for your next big event.
The function room is a perfect venue for weddings, birthdays, wakes, work parties or sporting presentations etc.
The club’s courtesy bus is available for functions and by prior arrangement and can be booked by phoning 02 6343 1634.
Current bar manager Karen Holland will be vacating her position and an advertisement for her replacement will be published.
The club currently employs one bar staff with all maintenance of the club, golf course and surrounds being attended to by very dedicated volunteers who do a magnificent job. The club’s committee and members would like to thank these volunteers. They would also like to extend a big thank you to Karen for her services over many years as well as the help her partner Scott has provided.
The club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on February 18, 2019 and it is imperative that all members attend. Many hands make light work and if the club is to continue as a stand alone organisation it needs all hands on deck.
AUSTRALIA DAY
CELEBRATIONS
The next big event on the club’s calendar will be it’s annual Australia Day festivities which will include popular live band “Voodoo Shuffle”.
The event will be a 9 hole, 3 person Ambrose with a Sausage sizzle and prizes to be won throughout the day!
The courtesy bus will be available for this event, just phone the club to secure your ride.
Please consider the Country Club for your next big function and together let’s ensure the Grenfell Country Club remains one of the best venues in town. For more information contact 6343 1634.
