Don’t forget Grenfell, it’s time for Daylight Saving
Daylight saving begins in NSW on Sunday, October 7.
Attorney General Mark Speakman reminded NSW residents that clocks move forward by one hour at 2am this Sunday, 7 October 2018.
NSW returns to standard time on Sunday, 7 April 2019 when daylight saving ends.
It was introduced during World War One to save fuel by cutting down on artificial lighting.
