Along with the visit from the Veteran Car Club of Australia, Grenfell also hosted members of the Australasian Branch of 6/80 Wolseley and Morris Oxford Car Club.
Leader Douglas Godwin said the group had travelled thousands of kilometres recently and were spending one week in Cowra which allowed them to visit Grenfell.
Along with the visit to Grenfell the group had also made a day trip to Iandra Castle at Greenethorpe, visited Young to sample cherry pies and also made a run over to Forbes for the Veteran Car Club’s night run.
There were 26 cars and 53 people in the group with their cars all Wolseleys or Morris Oxfords dating from 1948 to 1954.
Their members were from Queensland, all parts of NSW, Victoria and South Australia.
Whilst in Grenfell the group visited the Grenfell Chrysler Car Museum and Wallangreen Sculpture garden for morning tea before heading to Wondagurle gardens after leaving Grenfell.
