The conditions of the greens were very challenging and fast but that did not deter any of the lady golfers from Grenfell from bringing back major trophies and breaking their personal bests.
Winners from the event as follows;
Jan Myers won The Mabel Mackenzie Salver 36 hole Scratch division 2 and WDLGA Championship Open 36 hole.
Sally Mitton won runner up 18 Hole Handicap. Maria Neill won 18 Hole Handicap Wednesday division 4 and 36 Hole Handicap. Shirley Mawhinney won 18 Hole Handicap Tuesday division 4 and The Eunice Bishop Bowl divison 4.
Winners of The Western District Ladies Golf Teams Handicap Division 2 Tournament were Julie Scott and Shirley Mawhinney.

New members are always welcome at the Grenfell Golf Club.
Golf is a fun, friendly sport that is suitable for both males and females of all ages.
The club has an extensive program of events and tournaments that run throughout the year and new members are encouraged to come along and find out more.
The Grenfell Golf Course is an 18 hole sand greens course with a par of 68, ACR 66, and is 5530 metres long.
Fairways are in excellent condition.
There is ample parking for cars, buses and coaches. Golf clubs and carts are available for hire.
The Club is also available for events and functions with popular local chef Tania Mooney caterering for special events.
