The District Pairs Championships began here in Grenfell yesterday with the Open and Senior Pairs both being contested.

Due to a forfeit, our own Courtney Hunter and Kathy Betcher will, this afternoon, be contesting the final of the Open Pairs against a team to be determined yesterday.
The final of the Senior Pairs will also be played at the same time.
Members of the community are encouraged to come along and support our local girls who are contesting both sections.
The Grenfell Women’s Bowls next club meeting will be held on Wednesday June 6.
Also please don’t forget our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on July 4 at 2pm.
Nomination sheets are on the board and with our smaller numbers everyone is going to have to help. Fees will also be due by the end of June and are to be paid over the bar.
Social bowls will be played as usual Thursday, 10am start, and Saturdays, 1pm start. All are welcome to come along for a friendly game.
