The Garden Club Poppy Project is in its 2nd phase with the need of lots more knitted/crocheted poppies for display over the period around the 11/11. If you have already completed some, could you drop them off to Paige at the Tin Cupboard, or to Chris at home. If you would like to contribute to this project, there are patterns available from Paige, or you can Google or make up your own. We are happy to accept any size or style, so long as they are red. Thank you to those who have already dropped some off.

The next Garden Club meeting will be at the Bowling Club, at 2pm on Tuesday June 5, with guest speaker, Ruth McKellar, presenting a powerpoint on her recent trip overseas. Ruth visited a number of beautiful gardens and will be sharing images of these with us. The Bowling Club will supply afternoon tea at a cost of $5 each. We are still in need of a couple more gardens for Open Gardens 2018, so if you have a garden to include in the program, or know of someone who has a special garden, please contact Chris on 63431313.
