The Henry Lawson Festival is almost upon us and that means a busy time ahead with Street Stalls to be held on Friday and Saturday, June 1 and 2 and again on Friday, June 8. The street stalls will be held outside Grenfell IGA Supermarket and several dozen of Chris's famous scones will be available. The scones and other salable goods are sold quickly, so if you intend making a purchase please come to the stall as soon as possible. Tickets in the Festival's monster raffle will also be available. The raffle now has 18 fabulous prizes as Bunnings of Cowra has notified Festival Treasurer, Mrs Pene Starr that they will now donate three gift vouchers to the value of $50 each. The Festival Raffle is tremendous value for ticket buyers and the more you purchase the more chance you have of winning, not just one prize but several- you just have to be in it to win. Tickets in the raffle are $2 each or 3 for $5.

Hopefully. through the generosity of Grenfell's wonderful cooks. there will be plenty of cakes and slices available. If people wanting to donate cooking etc and cannot get the goods down to the stalls, please phone Bill on 6343 1270 and he will make arrangements to have the goods picked up.
To date, ticket sales in the monster raffle have been very pleasing and many thanks to those wonderful people who have helped selling tickets at the many stall days in Main Street. Also, many thanks to those who continually buy tickets at the stall. This support is very much appreciated. Prizes in the monster Festival Raffle will be drawn following the Presentation of Awards at the Grenfell Bowling Club on Saturday night, June 9.
