Festival fundraising

The  Grenfell Lions Club will be conducting a street stall today and Saturday 19 outside IGA in aid of their Henry Lawson Festival Queen May Suzuki.

A competition for a $100 Open Order to be spent at the store of your choice in Grenfell will be up for grabs as well as an ongoing raffle in a load of wood to be drawn on Saturday June 9.

The Club will also be providing information on “Lions Awareness”. We are more than just a sausage sizzle.

The club will be fundraising at the Grenfell Rodeo on May 26, cooking up a storm with their sausage and steak sandwiches and if weather permits running the jumping castle for the littlies.

A social fundraising casserole and sweets evening is organised for Saturday June 2 and will be held  at Bernadette Dykhoff’s home on Gooloogong Road at 6,30pm.  Everyone is invited. Cost $25p/p and BYOG. Bookings by May 30 appreciated, contact Deidre  or Terry Carroll 0263431574. All monies raised support local and Lions Charities.

Recently the Lions donated $3000 towards a state-of-the-art treadmill for the Weddin Day Therapy at the local MPS and $5600 to built locally a trailer for Cubs and Scouts. Without your generosity and  support the Grenfell Lions Club these donations would not be possible
