The Grenfell Indoor Bowlers are making a bit of a habit lately of playing two teams of five on one mat where everyone gets to bowl two bowls each, if we were all good players we would have a cluster of bowls to get through, however, as we have a lot of learners the skips usually have plenty of room as quite a lot of bowls end up off the mat.

The scores last Friday evening were: Tom, Nerida, Maureen, Anka and Ann defeated Mark, Mavis, Marie, Jean and Allen by 21 shots to 12.
Those players wishing to compete on the fun day are reminded to give their names to Mavis asap, I am sure everyone will enjoy the event and meet a lot of new faces and gain a lot of experience as everybody will be in different teams.
The Grenfell Indoor Bowls Club are still looking for more players to come along, so anybody wishing to have a try will be made most welcome.
You don’t need to be a bowler to come along and try as somebody will fill you in on the rules and procedures. Indoor bowls is played on Friday evenings from 7pm so come along and join in the fun.
