What a wonderful response to the Grenfell Garden Club's Poppy Project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day!
Seeds have now been collected and will be ready for distribution in March. Paige, at the Tin Cupboard, has kindly offered her premises as the pick up point.
It is pleasing to have so many assist.
Planning is under way to also include a display and exhibition of poppies, posters and WW1 memorabilia throughout town over a three week period around the 11/11/2018
We are asking anyone who is able to knit/crochet or make poppies to help us.
Patterns are now available for knitted/crochet or felt ones, at the Tin Cupboard.
So if anyone would like to join in and help, call down and see Paige and pick one up.
