Social Bowls

Despite the hot weather, it was great to see a total of 60 social bowlers out on the greens again this week.

Among the prize winners were: Hams – Keith Brus, John Grogan, Rob Chambers, Barry Jones, Rob Coleman and Mark McSpadden; Chooks – Ross Hunter, Quentin Murray and John King.

If you haven’t won a ham yet, there are just two chances left – this afternoon and on Friday. Best of luck!

The emphasis will be on making the afternoon a fun celebration of Christmas and will be followed by a sausage sizzle.

This week’s jackpot of $140 has gone off, with a team of pairs and a team of triples snagging the required combination of -2 on End 10 on an even rink.

Congratulations to John Dumbrell, Barry Jones, David Frost, John Hunter and Kerry Aston, who will each receive $28.

Next week the jackpot will start again at $60.
