“The Liberals and Nationals in Government are committed to giving our children the best possible chance to achieve their academic dreams,” Mr McCormack said. “To do this, I encourage people involved in the education system to have their say and show us the best path forward.” The Minister for Education and Training, Senator Simon Birmingham, said the review would determine the best evidence-based practices for students and would help guide how schools and educators focus the extra resources being delivered in classrooms.
An Issues Paper is now available, which frames the call for public submissions, this along with information on how to lodge a submission are available from: www.education.gov.au/educationalexcellencereview.
