Jan Diprose presented the prize to Coral White, whose name was drawn by local identity, Jack Black. Thank you to all who supported the stall so generously.
Funds raised go towards running the Nursery at 45 East St. Electricity and Water expenses are huge, together with pallets of potting mix and other seed raising requirements.
Labour is provided by volunteers. It is quite satisfying to spend a couple of hours, propagating plants, having a chat and a cuppa - new volunteers will be made most welcome!
Conditions are absolutely ideal for planting at present, so do call in to the Nursery any weekday morning until noon, or phone 0456 879 481 for an appointment.
