Judy reported our 2015 Scholarships will be awarded to year 11 student Cairan Thompson-Jones and year 12 student Melissa Causer, congratulations to both of these students.
It was moved to donate an amount of money to pay for ongoing Scholarships to be presented annually to a Henry Lawson High School student in years 11 and 12.
Several members are busy making Poppies to help commemorate Anzac Day, Chris Lobb will appreciate these for the display which will be held in the Art Gallery at the Grenfell Hub.
Kath Smith gave her report and Cultural Officer, Edith Taylor, read us two poems. Mavis Drogemuller gave us a report on preparations for our Wool Craft and Information shops closure.
Our CAW shop will close on March 31 but will be open for supplies to be collected between 10am and 3pm on week days until April 20.
If you have stock in our shop please arrange for it to be picked up as all unclaimed stock will be given to the Salvation Army Shop.
Out next meeting will be postponed until April 16 at 1.30pm in the Uniting Church Hall, owing to a number of members being away.
All members are encouraged to attend.
