It is Library & Information Week, and what a better time than this week to introduce you to our new library cards. A huge thank you to Jenn Graham for the photographs. They look amazing. All new members from this week will receive one of these cards.

This week's events we will be hosting National Simultaneous Storytime today Wednesday 22 and the Biggest Morning Tea tomorrow Thursday 23. So please support your library by attending or donating.
During the Henry Lawson Festival on Saturday 8 June at the front of the Hub between 10am and 12pm Australian children's author Tim Harris will be available to sign books and to talk to children about his books.
Please note the Library will be closed for the Festival on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 June. No items will be due during this time.
On Saturday 22 June we have Australian author Amanda Hampson conducting a writing workshop between 10am and 1pm in the Hub. Places are limited so please ensure that you have booked and paid prior to the event. Open to all ages.
Some great new fiction titles are now available. Titles include Star crossed by Minnie Darke, A life of her own by Fiona McCallum, When the lights go out by Mary Kubica, Mrs M by Luke Slattery, The French photographer by Natasha Lester, Without a doubt by Fleur McDonald, Celtic empire by Clive Cussler, The kingdom of copper by SA Chakraborty, Fled by Meg Keneally, Four respectable ladies seek the meaning of wife by Barbara Toner and Accidental feminists by Jane Caro.
A few new magazine titles are available for loan and they include Choice computer, Australian house & garden, Choice, Country style, Instyle, Science Illustrated, Small Farms and two new titles Horsewyse and Quilters companion.
A number of new nonfiction titles are available, and they include Andre Rieu by Marjorie Rieu, Hazel's journey by Sue Pieters-Hawke, A little bird told me by Kasey Chambers, Beyond the outback by Bronwyn Blake, The book of Daniel by Jeff Apter, The world according to Joan, My life story by Ben Cousins, Remembering Whitney by Cissy Houston and George Best a memoir by Michael Parkinson.
The latest large print titles are now available, and they include A shot in the dark by Lynne Truss, The peacock emporium by Jojo Moyes, Long trail to Nirvana by Scott Connor, Bonachon blood by Caleb Rand, The signet ring by Anne Holman, Safe haven by Eileen Knowles, Death bakes a pecan pie and The great chili kill-off by Livia J Washburn, Eggs on ice by Laura Childs and Fool's moon by Diane A S Stuckart.
Some great new DVD titles are available for loan this week and they include The girl in the spiders web, Brokeback mountain, Terminator salvation, The reader, Dying young, One last dance, Look who's talking, Angels fall, The best of the Two Ronnies, Bangkok Hilton, Mr Bean, Martin Clunes Islands of Britain, The Grinch, Rusty rivets botasaur and the bits, Days of heaven, Serial mom, Motherhood, Touched by an Angel, Prime and The way we were.
