A man has been charged after he allegedly used a stick as a firearm to threaten a neighbour in Grenfell.
Police were called to reports a man had a firearm at a unit block on East Street on Friday 30 May.
It's alleged the man pointed a long object, covered in a jumper, at a neighbour before making threats and leaving, officers attached to the Hume police district were told.
Following inquiries, police located and arrested a 54-year-old man nearby.
During the arrest police located a jumper containing a stick which police believe was the item used during the incident.

The man was taken to Young Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (two counts).
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Young Local Court on Wednesday 9 July.
