Library Lines

The school holidays are upon us again so head on down to the library for some fun and laughter, check out all the new kids books that will be available these holidays as well as some entertaining holiday attractions including:

Board games and Lego sessions:

This week there’s a large number of new items becoming available for loan. In the Large Print titles we have Aurore by Graham Hurley, The house of new beginnings by Lucy Diamond, Lizzie’s daughters by Rosie Clarke, The hidden room by Stella Duffy, Commonwealth by Ann Patchett, Pengelly’s daughter by Nicola Pryce, I found you by Lisa Jewell, Come and be killed by Shelley Smith, Secrets of Mellin Cove by Rena George, Mountain romance by Paula Williams, The magnificent Mendozas by Ross Morton, A German summer by Carol MacLean, Hanging day by Rob Hill, Ruthless men by Corba Sunman, Our song by Dani Atkins and Dear Amy by Helen Callaghan.

New magazine titles this week include Taste, Better Homes and Gardens, Australian Patchwork & Quilting, Organic Gardener and Quarterly Essay. Don’t forget to grab a magazine survey to help decide on which titles to keep and suggest any new titles. New Talking Books titles include ‘The 91-storey treehouse’ by Andy Griffiths and ‘One quiet woman’ by Anna Jacobs.

The Friends of the Grenfell Library (FOGL) are a great bunch of community members who support the library throughout the year. If you are interested in joining please coming along to a meeting at the library on the fourth (4th) Tuesday of each month at 2pm.
