For ten years or so, Grenfell Dramatic Society has been sponsoring, in the week before the Lawson Festival begins, a low-key contribution to the festivities that it dubbed “Poetry by Firelight.”

The Society’s presentation in conjunction with this year’s Henry Lawson Festival of Arts is “And Then There Were None”, an adaptation for the stage by Agatha Christie of her novel “Ten Little Niggers”, published in 1939. Although not your usual detective story, this yarn is an intriguing mystery, and a genuine whodunit.
