Grenfell Garden Club news

Following the club's AGM on  August 1, 2017 newly elected President Chris Lobb chaired the normal August meeting. As the industrious former secretary Chris "hit the ground running" in her new role. She was able to announce advanced arrangements for the Open Gardens Weekend to be held on October 14 and 15, 2017 as well as interesting venues for the September and October meetings.

Formal meeting procedures were followed including the Treasurer's report showing a healthy bank balance. The next meeting will be held at 2pm on Tuesday September 5 at Catriona Glanville's property "Arramagong".

The main entrance to the property is the first on the left past Dick's bridge on Bimbi road. Members attending should bring a chair, something for afternoon tea and a jacket for an early afternoon in spring. As well as the usual competition for a bloom, the best article - home grown or home made will be judged.
