OBE:

By now you should all know that Robyn Logan attained her “OBE - Over Bloomin 80” status on July 06.

Robyn was the recipient of a special celebration at Fettlers Restaurant on Thursday evening the day of her birthday.

Good friends Patricia Reid and Coral Mitton (two of the regular Thursday evening birthday girls) were the main organisers of this special night.

Robyn was delighted that her lifelong friend Jocelyn Hancock and her tennis friends Loris Stewart and Jan O’Neill (daughters of Rhub and Enid Lehane) from the St Joseph’s Tennis Court days returned to Grenfell for the evening.

Former Grenfell resident Janice Gavin, now of Cootamundra, Robyn’s cousins, other tennis, squash and card playing friends and the regular Thursday night birthday girls all had a great night with Robyn.

Robyn received a call from her brother Lloyd and his family from the USA and whilst speaking with her they were on line visiting the Grenfell Record website and read the story on Robyn’s “This Is Your Life”.
