Some Grenfell residents will remember that I went with four others to Nepal on a ‘volun-tour’ in March of last year, combining some sight-seeing with a lot of moving of rocks from a site where part of a school collapsed in the big earthquakes of 2015. Our role was to clear the site in preparation for rebuilding. I also took with me a substantial sum of money generously donated by local residents to be put towards the school reconstruction project. Recently I received an email from the headmaster of the school reporting the good news that the school has almost been rebuilt and the official opening is scheduled for the end of April. So be assured that your donations have made a difference! Thank you again.
