I’m sure we’ll find something to inspire, like Tim Winton’s memoir The Boy Behind the Curtain featuring Tim’s remarkable true stories revealing an intimate and rare view of his imagination at work and play.
We have the new Nicholas Sparks book, Two by Two.
This is a poignant tale of rediscovered love and the power of family, with the emotionally powerful story of one man’s journey to rebuild his life as the single parent of a six-year old daughter and no one is more surprised than Russ when he finds every aspect of the life he took for granted turned upside down.
This week included as part large print format we will also have a selection of Linford Large Print Romance.
Also new in the large print is Patrick Taylor’s, An Irish Country Love Story and the Things We Keep by Sally Hepworth, a poignant story about Anna 38 years old with early onset Alzheimer’s and the man she meets in care Luke.
“This is an incredibly sad story and yet I felt good at the end, I could say it's because there was a feeling of hope”, was one reviewers take on the book.
A couple of new DVD’s this week The Finest Hours based on a true story of a Coast Guard rescue off Cape Cod, when an oil tanker is ripped in half trapping more than 30 sailors, starring Australia’s own Eric Banna.
The Second movie this week is Rust a murder mystery examining the themes of faith, family and community.
Two new CD’s this week, Human Nature Gimme Some Lovin’ and Play School Celebrating 50 Years featuring many famous Australian bands, singers and DJ’s, Kate Cebrano, Dan Sultan, Missy Higgins, KLP’s remix of There’s a Bear in There is fantastic but You AM I’s One Potato is the rockiest play school tune yet!
This CD will put a smile on your face.
