Grenfell RSL Veterans at the VP Day and Long Tan Ceremony held at Memorial Park last Thursday evening.
Grenfell RSL Sub-branch along with Grenfell Cadet Unit, Rev Ross Craven, Weddin Shire Councillors and senior staff as well as members of the community gathered together at Memorial Park to commemorate VP day and the Battle of Long Tan. President of Grenfell RSL Maurice Simpson led the ceremony in what was a very fitting acknowledgment of the sacrifices our veterans undertook for our country during the Vietnam War.
