There are 5 swim nights left before the championships commence on Friday 20th February. A list of events that swimmers have completed as of Friday 9th January will be emailed to each swimmer. A copy will also be held at the recording desk on Friday nights. Swimmers will be able to check that they qualify for events. Swimmers will be automatically nominated for events in which they qualify. If you do not want to participate in an event, you must inform the recording desk by the end of swimming on Friday 13th February.
To qualify for a championship event you must have completed 6 swims in that stroke. If you have been promoted to a longer event, e.g. from 20m to 33m, your shorter swims do count.
To qualify for the 100m and/or the 200m you must have completed 6 swims which can be any combination of 100m, 200m or 200IM.
To qualify for the 200m individual medley you must have completed 6 swims in each of the four strokes and be currently swimming each at 50m.
It is time to return perpetual trophies for 2015 presentation night.
If you would like to swim in the Parkes Carnival, 7th and 8th February, please have your name to Leann by Monday 19th January.
Monday 26th January - Australia Day Pool party, 5.30 - 9.00pm. All community is invited. $5 per person gate entry. Barbeque, music, jumping castle, spot prizes.
7th and 8th February - Parkes swimming carnival
Sunday 15th February - Business House Relays. Start organizing teams.
Friday 20th February - First championship night
Friday 27th February - Second championship night
Friday 13th March - Presentation night. Venue to be confirmed.
