The exercise will be held around the Old Railway Station and as a result West Street will be blocked off for the safety of the participants. The exercise will commence about 4pm and run for two hours.
The exercise will include local Police, Rural Fire Service, Ambulance, NSW Fire & Rescue, Health and SES. The exercise is being conducted to test the skills of all local emergency services in Grenfell and how well they work together in an emergency.
The Local Emergency Management Committee apologises for any inconvenience caused to members of the community, but feel this training is vital for the benefit of all residents in the Weddin Shire.
