Ian’s blue bar hen arrived safely home and was clocked in at 3:12:56 flying a velocity of 1024.04 meters per minute but there was no one there to meet it. With Ian up at the Gold Coast visiting gentlemen’s clubs such as Hollywood Showgirls he was only interested in one type of bird. It was lucky he left a spare key at the loft so the birds could let themselves in. He didn’t leave a spare key at the motel for the other birds as Karen was with him.
Second was Marty with a blue bar pied cock. Marty’s bird arrived at 3:14:43 flying a velocity of 1020.4. Marty could have won the race if he didn’t send it back down the street for supplies before he clocked it in. He needed smokes, beer and the paper so he can hide those lady magazines while reading them.
Third was Shannon with his blue bar hen flying a velocity of 1000.54. Shannon was very happy to see it come in. When his birds get out to these sort of distances they usually fold faster than superman on laundry day.
Fourth was Peter, his blue bar cock which flew a velocity of 976.9. Fifth was Zane with his blue checker cock. Sixth was Ross who cleaned up with Father’s Day presents. Amanda was just happy that the kids didn’t pitch in and buy him a onesie.
Andy only came seventh this week because John wasn’t flying. With more distance races to come Andy is now planing for the future, on race day he now buys two cases of beer instead of one.
Next week we have the week of as most flyers will be attending the Parkes One Loft Race and hoping their bird will be in first for the 10,000 dollars in prize money. The week after we will be racing from Wentworth, a 578km race.
