With a lack of players and some silly mistakes, the final score of the day was 22-16 in Grenfell's favour.
Canowindra had one player on the bench and not long after the first whistle a player was hospitalised.
Another player was helped off the field shortly after that, which put an extreme amount of pressure on the home side's depth.
A notable mention to Luke Tarrant for stepping up to the mark and scoring two tries for the day.
Curtis Hughes was voted for three points for his fantastic effort in constantly pushing forward and controlling the game as Canowindra persisted fiercely in attempt for a win.
The Willson brothers were also awarded points for the day as Alex was awarded two points and Sam was awarded one for their great contribution to the game.
Congratulations to Canowindra's full back for the day Mick Watt as he was awarded Players Player for his outstanding performance in his position.
Playing fullback in wet conditions is always a difficult task, although Mick was right under every ball that was kicked to him as he caught it and ran the field numerous times to push the team up.
