Brad Galvin had to produce some good bowls to just sneak past Ray Walters to take the win 31-30 nothing like a good tight game well done boys. Another game that went down to the wire saw Clive Anderson come from behind to down Quinton Murray this was a tough game all the way through well played Clive.
The next round of singles is to be played on June 1.
Nominations for the Major and Minor pairs also close June 1.
Don’t forget markers are needed for the singles matches.
Roger Baker is currently playing at Ulladulla in the senior inter zone championships, best of luck Roger we all wish him all the best.
Our top grade is playing in the zone playoffs next month which is a great effort but we need help to cover our costs, we have a state of origin jumper (NSW of course) to be won at each game. To help just purchase some footy doubles tickets at the club there just $2.00 each.
The bowls jackpot was not won last week next week it stands at $131.00

We had a very enjoyable night of social bowls with our visitors from Forbes Sport and Recreation Club last Friday night. The winning team was led in by Garth O’Brien with team mates Bev Chandler from Forbes, Maureen Piefke and Eric Gluyas winning both games and scoring 19 points.
The runners up were John Read and Kim Sharmon from Forbes with Nancy O’Brien and Owen Feeney with one win and 18 points.
Two teams have been selected to go to Cootamundra next Sunday and their President tells me they have a capacity acceptance of 16 teams.
We had a good roll up of bowlers from six different clubs for our fund raising day last Sunday and, as I do not have the final figures, I am positive that the day was also financially successful and will thus be a big help for our trip to Nowra on the long weekend.
Next Friday night is back to normal social bowls with points score.
