Grace said “Thanks so much everyone for your warm support and sharing in my excitement! It’s such a blessing to live in a community that gets behind each other; it’s made my experience so much fun. It seems like us Grenfellites do quite well on this show so everyone should sign up for it!”
Grace who took part in the episode of Millionaire Hotseat on February 3 was accompanied to Melbourne for the recording by her mother, Norma. The staff of Win 9 were all very well organised and friendly and it made for a great experience.
What we see on the television is only a small section of the entire day. Around six episodes are recorded in one day and everyone stays for the entire day.
As most people know by now Grace like Madeleine Griffiths was the he second contestant on the show and could not pass. She answered two questions correctly and passed on the next.
Fortunately for Grace the next four contestants went through with some answering some questions correctly or incorrectly or passing and she was then back in the Hot Seat for the final question and playing for $50,000.
Before answering the final question, Eddie asked Grace what she would do with $50,000.
Grace replied, “I need a new head gasket for my car and would like to buy a Bi-plane Tiger Moth.”
Grace’s final question was – Australian Actor Chris Hemsworth has two brothers - both actors one is Liam and who? (A) Dale, (B) Craig, (C) Luke or (D) Thor?
After a little giggle at Thor, a very cool Grace answered that “Chris, Liam and Luke sounded good” and asked for (C) Luke to be locked in.
Congratulations to Grace who correctly answered the last question and will receive her $50,000 prize money later.
If we hear a Tiger Moth flying around, maybe it is 20 year old Grace on her way to Uni at Wagga Wagga where she is a nursing student.
