"Grenfell's Iris Garden is approaching the high point of flowering for this year," Garden caretaker, gardener and curator Anne Gault said.
"There is a good range of colours and the blooms are large because of the favourable recent weather conditions.
"Well worth a visit - and bring your camera!"
Located in O'Brien's Street, at the foot of O'Brien's Hill, the Iris blooms are currently a sea of vibrant colour and with the easing of COVID restrictions the Garden is a great place to enjoy a relaxing picnic, photo shoot, gathering or any number of meetings or events.
Though it is not a well known local attraction the amazing display of iris' of all kinds of species, colours and types has been available for locals to peruse and admire for years and is a relaxing way to admire nature at its best all within Grenfell's town limits.
With amenities available the Garden is a fantastic way for locals to enjoy the outdoors and while away a few hours as they take in all that the Garden has to offer.
Anne Gault has spent a number of years taking care of the Garden and getting it to the amazing display that it is today and invites locals to come and appreciate the beauty.
