Substitute Sergio Canales has struck a late winner as Real Betis picked snatched their first La Liga win of the season with a 2-1 victory at Andalusian rivals Granada.
Betis, who qualified for the Europa League by finishing sixth last season, appeared set to go four successive games without success after Granada striker Luis Suarez cancelled out Rodrigo Sanchez's first-half opener.
But Spain international Canales pounced a minute from time to snatch all three points for Manuel Pellegrini's men.
Canales left three defenders behind him after picking up the ball near the midfield line, then sent a low shot into the corner.
Pellegrini rested some of his regular starters before their match against Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday.
Former Arsenal and West Ham striker Lucas Perez scored on his Elche debut to secure a 1-0 victory at Getafe.
The 33-year-old substitute, who joined from Alaves at the end of August, netted in the 69th minute, earning his new side their first win of the campaign.
Getafe have now lost their opening four games of a season for the first time.
